Aerial Fire Training Solutions (AFTS) offers highly specialized on-site aerial appliance operator training for Civil and Industrial Fire & Rescue Services throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Operating an Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) Hydraulic Platform Vehicle (HPV) Turntable Ladder (TTL) is a highly skilled job which should only be undertaken after specialist training. Even then, continuing practical experience of all types, in all circumstances, is essential for the ALP/HPV/TTL driver/operator to develop his skills.

The ability to operate ALPs, HPV, and TTLs successfully must come from highly specialized training and continual practical experience. Only a fully qualified driver/operator who has successfully completed all the necessary training should ever be in charge of such appliances.

ALP/HPV/TTL training is directed at Civil Defense and Industrial Fire Departments with courses tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements. All courses are designed to equip Driver/Operators with the necessary skills and knowledge to be proficient.

Training will generally be conducted at the client’s chosen location and using the client’s own aerial appliance/s, with our instructor travelling to the site and remaining for the duration of the training.

Our training syllabus is normally based on not more than three students per instructor per appliance, dependant on the appliances safe working load (SWL). However, with discussion, this may be tailored to meet the client’s needs.
